Suppose you want to boost your engagement on Instagram. In that case, these are the top-performing post formats: Inspirational quotes, food pics, photos of real people, landscapes and scenery, user-generated images, animal pics, behind-the-scenes, videos, and trends.
BUT BEFORE YOU START POSTING IT, keep in mind: engagement is essential to boost awareness and reach more people, but it doesn't work so well to get leads and clients.
I'll explain that in detail in a future post (follow me and activate notifications, so you don't miss it).
But in short, ask yourself this: "what's my main goal with my Instagram page?"
- Is it to build trust with an audience?
- Get more leads?
- And increase the number of clients?
If you answered YES to at least one of these, you shouldn't focus only on creating these above formats.
Now, if you don't rely on Instagram as a tool to build trust with your audience, get leads and clients - if all that matters to you is engagement - then these post formats will work great.
If you run a business, you're probably wondering: "what if I don't want to post content like that on my Instagram page? What if it doesn't make sense for my brand?"
Then, focus on creating content that builds trust (inbound content, check the previous post for more details), and find another way to drive awareness (bring people to your Instagram page).
Remember: engagement is essential, YES. But it's far from being the ultimate goal for most businesses (unless you're an influencer).
Got it? Don't worry; you don't have to learn all that stuff. You only need someone that knows and takes over your Instagram while you focus on other areas of your business.
